Your agent sent it. Can you prove it for this tenancy?

Bulk emails are useful. Tenant-level proof is what the Act requires. Forward the email, review the draft, issue the record.

The notice

What a Proof Record adds

What the record captures.

Service date
The date you served, held separately from the date the record was created.
Sender role
Who sent the notice, for example landlord, letting agent, or authorised representative.
Service method
Email, post, hand delivery, or another supported method.
Tenant count
How many listed tenants were covered, without storing names or addresses on the public page.
Evidence strength
Whether the record rests on tenant-level evidence, campaign-level evidence, self-declared evidence, or needs review.
Source version
Which GOV.UK source version was used, with a verification link someone else can check later.

How it works

Three steps.

1. Forward the notice.

2. Review the draft.

3. Issue the record.

Forwarding by email is live. Manual upload is available if you served by hand or post.

What you receive

A registry entry. Not a receipt.

The Proof Record is a single registry entry. The verification link opens this page. A council officer, an insurer, a tribunal clerk, or a solicitor can read it on its own.
